Who am I?
Fair enough question. I am an avid
writer, reader, role-playing/board game
addict, comic book geek and generally
lucid dreamer.
I've been writing to entertain, to
share my stories with the world ever
since the sixth grade. I was the kid
with the spiral-bound notebook filled
with stories about World War II pilots
crashing on zombie infested islands. I
was the kid who wanted books instead of
dinner.
I write across the board, but some of
my favorite genres are fantasy,paranormal,
horror, weird tales, and speculative or
dystopian fiction (with a fondness for
steampunk and/or apocalyptic stuff).
My wonderful wife of eleven years (I have to say this..she's watching,
heehee..) puts up with my bizarre rambling, incessant note taking,
crazed ideas, and the hours I spend hunched over my laptop. She hasn't
killed me with a spatula yet, so it must be love.
We have three little goblins that provide hours of enjoyment and
inspiration and an Irish setter who thinks she's the princess of the
house.
I'm an amateur artist and I dabble with the bass guitar.
In one semester I'll have my Master of Arts in writing from
Rowan University, Glassboro, New Jersey.
I love networking with my fellow writers and sharing news, resources,
successes and advice. I think we need each other, at the very least to
know that there are kindred spirits haunting this lifestyle as well.
So who am I? I'm just a guy spilling his imagination onto the page,
hoping that you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
